Many visitors choose to arrive by car and we can arrange airport pick up from Colombo, or indeed from anywhere in Sri Lanka, so don't worry if you're planning to travel around. The journey from the airport on the old coast road is about four hours, but the new expressway will reduce this time to about 2 hours.

An exciting way of travelling to Talaramba is the Sri Lankan Air Taxi sea plane service. It departs from a Buddhist temple on the river in Colombo and hops down the coast to Koggala Lake, about twenty minutes from Talaramba, from where we will arrange pick-up. Alternatively take the coast train from Colombo Fort to Matara, a local express which offers unparalleled ocean vistas not seen from the road. Again we will arrange pick-up.
